P Sebastian 17 December 2001
Stayed at  Sofitel Palm Resort - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
We also found that it was easy to get to JB town from here (about 45 mins ride) so it is convenient for shoppers to get some bargains in JB town.

L Chai 16 December 2001
Stayed at  Puteri Pan Pacific Hotel Johor Bahru, The - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Love the food there, cheap and good food, especially the open air night market beside the Hindu temple.

S Golemme 16 December 2001
Stayed at  Compact Hotel - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
There isn't a great deal to see in J.B. I recommend visiting the night market, Istana, and waterfront. It's a good place to shop for certain items, such as clothing and software, and is generally much cheaper than Singapore.

L Joelle 15 December 2001
Stayed at  Sofitel Palm Resort - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
The resort has a vast range of facilities and that provides the guest many choices for relaxation. However, the massage facility is very limited. They take very few bookings, should consider increasing especially during peak period or weekends.

C Lo 02 December 2001
Stayed at  Sofitel Palm Resort - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
One and half hours from Singapore airport to resort.

C Choo 25 November 2001
Stayed at  Sofitel Palm Resort - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Easy to move around with idiot proof signs.

Y Carolyn 24 November 2001
Stayed at  Sofitel Palm Resort - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
There's really nothing much at Sofitel except for the spa.

L Hong siong 19 November 2001
Stayed at  Eden Garden Hotel Johor Bahru - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Good location for shopping and eating out!

C Wai 04 November 2001
Stayed at  Eden Garden Hotel Johor Bahru - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Taking taxi to the hotel is easy. It is so near to the coast way, and it only costs us $4, so cheap! I also tried some fish cake near the coast way, that is wonderful! It is a bit chilli, but they use those kind of high class fish to make the fish cake. That makes the fish cake to be "bouncy" and "fresh"!!!

L Soh 28 October 2001
Stayed at  Sofitel Palm Resort - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
- Nearer to second link from Singapore.
- However, no taxi available from second link.
- Taxi from JB city [nearer to first link] cost R$25 nett.
- Resort provides FOC transfer to JB City [one way only!] with minimum four going together.
- good for short stay.
